Etienne implementation review

The 2026-10-17 review and recommended implementation order (local study archive) compares the local Etienne archive with the completed 32-reservoir cohort and Gaborit, Fortin and Durnford (2022), DOI 10.1139/cjce-2021-0507.

It covers parameterization with different available observations, daily target interpolation, temporal observation operators, calibration objectives and numerical/source checks. It includes 1,728 release-law comparisons and additional release diagnostics from 32 cached trajectories, with no new optimization or reservoir simulation. Production equations, selected parameters and source gates remain unchanged.

Use the report's four implementation stages for subsequent work: strategy metadata, transparent weak-data benchmarks, reservoir-level transfer evaluation, then a separately versioned temporal model change.
